Every classical banjoist knows how difficult it has always been to find a really good 4th string. In the old days Clifford Essex offered a copper polished 4th, many players loved the string but unfortunately it soon wore out. The classical banjo style is very demanding of the 4th string and the same problem prevails today, with all leading brands, until now.
This string will stay in tune and needs to be played in for several hours before reaching its ultimate tone. It will retain a great tone for a very considerable period of time. Try it and see for yourself.
